Aerial yoga offers a unique twist to traditional yoga by incorporating a silk hammock or sling suspended from the ceiling. This innovative approach allows you to execute familiar yoga poses with the added support of the hammock, enhancing flexibility and range of motion during the practice. No prior experience needed.

Meet Erin Wells

Erin Wells is a passionate yoga practitioner and teacher whose transformative yoga journey began over a decade ago. She began practicing yoga post-pregnancy to ease back pain and physical difficulties. A random yoga class marked a turning point, easing discomfort and revealing newfound strength, along with the unexpected spiritual dimension of yoga.

Her fascination grew when she discovered Aerial Yoga at Simply Yoga. Being suspended in a hammock, executing poses akin to an aerial performer, offered a captivating mix of strength, flexibility, and spinal rejuvenation. Completing Aerial Yoga training under Jessie Coakley's guidance was a surreal accomplishment.

Traditional yoga training felt like a natural progression, inspiring her to pursue further development. The profound experience of participating in the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Parallel 45 Yoga in 2021 began with a soulful vinyasa class featuring harmonium melodies that stirred deep emotions and initiated a significant spiritual awakening.

You can find Erin sharing her love for yoga, Aerial and Pilates at Muni Muni Yoga & Wellness or promoting well-being at Scoliosis Wellness, spreading the joy of yoga/pilates to all interested individuals
