Hi, I’m Haley!
Tadasana Adventures is built on the two things that have brought me the most peace and joy, along with a deeper connection to myself—spending time in nature and practicing yoga.
I’ve been an avid adventurer my whole life (my first backpacking trip was at just 7-month-old)! From climbing mountains to traveling around the globe, my own personal growth and “aha” moments have always come when wandering in unfamiliar territory and untamed places.
After an injury ended my athletic activities as a pole vaulter and cheerleader, I began practicing yoga in high school. Naturally overactive and anxious, yoga (particularly Vinyasa) provided an outlet for my energy and helped me find deeper spirituality and inner calm. I practiced on and off for over a decade, turning to the practice when my life became particularly chaotic.
Then came my mid-20s and a quarter-life crisis. At 26, I realized I had completely abandoned my intuition, swapped play and joy for obligation and expectation, and found myself becoming a person I couldn’t stand. As I sought to reconnect with my true myself, I began hiking again and slowly stripped away a lot of societal “shoulds,” finding courage on the trail to make some radical life changes. After moving to the PNW from the East Coast, I rededicated to my yoga practice and completed my 200-hr yoga teacher training.
One morning on my commute to work, I had an epiphany—what if I could combine yoga and outdoor adventure, sharing this medicine that had changed my life with others. And thus, in 2019, I started this crazy adventure. It is now my absolute honor to guide you to experience the magic of nature and yoga and their ability to help you seek your peak!
When not outside or on my mat, you can find me cuddling one of my six cats, drinking a cup of black coffee, and reading a good whodunit!
