Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing you can move in! Yoga clothes or hiking clothes are great options, and we recommend hiking or comfortable walking shoes. Double-check local weather forecasts, and be sure to bring rain gear and jackets in case of wet or cool weather.
Additionally, please bring the following:
Water - we recommend bringing at least 1 liter for your hike.
Yoga mat or yoga blanket. We recommend that you do not bring your most expensive, nicest mat, and feel free to practice directly on the ground if that is your preference. Consider the timing of the yoga class for your hike. For mid-hike classes, you might not want to carry your yoga mat for 5 miles. We will have a handful of Yogo Ultralight Foldable Yoga Mats available to borrow.
Any snacks you may need - granola bars, etc.
For evening events, be sure to bring a headlamp or rent one from us.
We recommend bringing extra layers for after dark.
For Meditation Hikes, You may also want to bring something to sit on, like a lightweight seat pad or a backpacking chair.
-
Absolutely!
We love introducing people to the joy of moving on their mats (especially out in nature).
We recommend sharing that you’re new to the practice of yoga in your booking notes so our instructors can offer some additional assistance during your class.
Our Intentional Wanderers Hikes or Meditation Hikes are also a great place to start and do not include a full yoga practice with poses.
If you have questions, let us know. You can email us at hello@tadasanaadventures.com with any specific concerns.

All of our hikes are focused on mindfully enjoying nature, and we welcome all paces. We always have a designated sweep who stays at the back of our group, making sure no one is left behind.
Our Sunset and Mindful Morning Hikes with Yoga tend to be gentle to moderate and no more than 5 miles. They are a great option for those newer to hiking.
Our Intentional Wanderers Hikes tend to be a little more strenuous but completely self-paced, allowing you to take as much time as you need!
While open to all, our Meditation Hikes tend to be more challenging hikes, and we try to stay together as a group. They also frequently include scrambles and or excursions to rocky outcrops or cliffs.
As always, please reach out to us if you have any specific questions or concerns via email at hello@tadasanaadventures.com
