Intro to SUP Yoga
with Haley Finnegan
The Lake | 11:00 AM -12:15 PM
Curious about stand-up paddleboarding? New to yoga? Never tried combining the two? This workshop is the perfect way to dive in—no experience necessary.
We’ll start on land, covering the basics of paddleboarding and water safety before taking to the lake. Once on the water, you’ll paddle out to a calm, anchored line and be guided through a beginner-friendly SUP yoga practice. Expect to explore seated, kneeling, and optional standing postures designed to help you feel steady, confident, and connected.
This is a supportive and playful space to try something new, challenge your balance, and enjoy nature from a whole new perspective.
Meet Haley Finnegan
Haley Finnegan is the founder of the Float & Flow Festival and the heart behind Tadasana Adventures. A lifelong adventurer—whose first backpacking trip was at just seven months old—Haley has always found her truest self in wild places.
After a high school injury sidelined her from athletics, she discovered yoga as a way to move, breathe, and find calm. Over the years, yoga became a steady companion through life’s many pivots. In 2019, inspired by her love for both movement and the outdoors, she launched Tadasana Adventures with a vision to share yoga in wild, beautiful places.
Haley has been teaching yoga for over six years, with a special passion for SUP yoga. She believes there’s nothing quite like moving and meditating on water, where balance, play, and presence meet. Whether guiding first-timers or seasoned practitioners, she loves helping people experience the joy and challenge of practicing on a paddleboard.
When not outside or on her mat, you can find her chasing after her little one, drinking a cup of black coffee, and reading a good whodunit.
