Mala Making
with Leigh Arroyo
The Pavillion: Den | 12:30 -1:45 PM
Experience the meditative art of creating your own hand-knotted, 108 bead Mala infused with your individual intentions and energy. This is a hands-on crafting workshop where we will learn the ancient history and significance of the mala which is traditionally used to count prayers, recite mantras, affirmations or intentions. All supplies will be provided with personal guided instruction and assistance, along with a brief Reiki energy activation for your work-in-progress mala!
If participants are unable to complete their mala in the allotted workshop time at the festival, Leigh will provide access to detailed YouTube videos of the over-hand knot technique as well as finishing steps to support at-home completion after the festival!
