SUP YOGA

Spend the summer on the waters of Southwest Washington (all within an easy drive of Vancouver, WA and PDX) with stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga. Connect to nature and yourself as you move your body with the gentle sway of the water beneath you.

Pop-Up Paddle & Poses

Join us on the water for some fun and to connect with other paddleboarders. In an informal workshop-style class, you’ll explore how to make your favorite yoga shapes on your board!

Enjoy about 30 minutes of community paddling before securing your board to a line for a gentle yoga warm-up. We’ll then spend the next half an hour testing out different poses on the board (so bring your questions and playful spirit!) Finally, we’ll conclude with a short cool-down and a long, peaceful savasana.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and don’t mind getting wet! Consider wearing sandals or water shoes you can slip on and off and attach to your board.

If you register as BYOB (bring your own board), make sure to bring your board, paddle, and a life jacket. This is important, the coast guard will ticket people without PFDs.

Additionally, you may want to bring the following:

Drybag (we provide a communal dry bag for car keys, phones, and wallets)

    Water bottle

Any snacks you may need - granola bars, etc.

A towel and change of clothes in case you get wet! Falling off your board can happen and some people like to jump in the water for a dip. You’ll probably want to leave this in your vehicle for after your adventure.

  • If you are new to stand-up paddleboarding, yoga, or both, we highly recommend starting with our Intro to SUP Yoga Workshop!

If you are an experienced paddler and have a regular yoga practice but just haven’t taken yoga on the board yet, you may want to join us for one of our Sunset SUP Yoga classes or our Pop-up Paddle and Poses.
