Yin Yoga - Fire Element

with Morgan Furgeson

The Meadow | 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Connect to the spirit of summer through this seasonal Yin Yoga experience rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Guided by the philosophy of the Fire Element, this workshop invites us to move in harmony with nature and cultivate a deeper connection to ourselves, our bodies, and each other.

We’ll explore the meridians associated with the Fire Element—Heart, Pericardium, Small Intestine, and San Jiao—through long-held Yin shapes designed to awaken energy flow through the arms, chest, neck, face, and breath. Each posture will be paired with mindful reflections on the season’s themes: joy, transformation, expansion, and connection.

This workshop includes an opening discussion on Yin Yoga and the Fire Element, grounding breathwork, 5–6 supported postures, and a final meditation or savasana to seal the practice.

Meet Morgan Furgeson

Morgan Furgeson (she/her) believes our first sacred space is the body—where we hold and experience every aspect of life. Her teaching invites students to create space within themselves—physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically—to ground, connect, and listen deeply to the language of their body and being. With a focus on strength, mobility, flexibility, and mindfulness, Morgan’s classes are a journey toward wholeness.

Yoga has been a part of Morgan’s life since her teens. She spent two years apprenticing under a seasoned teacher, earned her 200-hour certification with Blue Nyla Yoga, and has since taught over 1,000 hours of classes. Her work is also deeply informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tuina, and eastern massage, studied during her LMT training at East West College of the Healing Arts. She brings her knowledge and heart to every class she offers.
