An Exploration of Yoga Philosophy: A Community Conversation

with Morgan Furgeson

The Hollow | 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM

Join us for a 75-minute guided conversation designed to spark curiosity and deepen your connection to the heart of yoga. Together, we’ll explore foundational yogic philosophy—including the 8 Limbs of Yoga and core principles of mindfulness—and how these ancient teachings are already woven into our lives, often in ways we may not realize.

This open, reflective space is meant for listening, sharing, feeling, and learning in community. Drawing from classical yoga texts, the wisdom of modern thinkers, and personal experience, we’ll create a meaningful dialogue that invites deeper awareness, insight, and connection. All are welcome—no prior study of yoga philosophy is needed, just a willingness to be present and engaged.

Meet Morgan Furgeson

Morgan Furgeson (she/her) believes our first sacred space is the body—where we hold and experience every aspect of life. Her teaching invites students to create space within themselves—physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically—to ground, connect, and listen deeply to the language of their body and being. With a focus on strength, mobility, flexibility, and mindfulness, Morgan’s classes are a journey toward wholeness.

Yoga has been a part of Morgan’s life since her teens. She spent two years apprenticing under a seasoned teacher, earned her 200-hour certification with Blue Nyla Yoga, and has since taught over 1,000 hours of classes. Her work is also deeply informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tuina, and eastern massage, studied during her LMT training at East West College of the Healing Arts. She brings her knowledge and heart to every class she offers.
