ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
Not the perfectly posed family photo type? This one's for you.
For the families who never quite get around to booking professional photos. The ones who look better laughing, exploring, and being themselves than standing still and saying cheese.
Join us for a playful afternoon outside with photographer and arts educator, Chrissy Gibbins of The Intuitive Brush, where the kids can be kids, everyone can relax, and the best moments happen naturally.
We'll explore approximately one mile of beautiful woodland trails, following a creek, crossing a little bridge, and hunting for tiny treasures along the way. With a nature scavenger hunt to keep little explorers curious, Chrissy will capture your family in action against some lovely natural backdrops, plus sneak in one classic family portrait (holiday card, anyone?).
No matching outfits or picture-perfect poses required. Just your people, a little fresh air, and some memories worth keeping.
Your afternoon includes:
A family mini session with photographer Chrissy Gibbins
5–7 thoughtfully edited images delivered in a private online gallery the very next day
A nature scavenger hunt with a keepsake picture card and treasure bag for each child
A relaxed, approximately one-mile woodland adventure with photos and play along the way
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
-
We want you to have the information you need to choose your own adventure. This one is designed for families of all ages, with plenty of flexibility for little legs and curious explorers.
Distance: Approximately 1 mile round trip. We may turn around sooner depending on how our little adventurers are doing.
Elevation: Minimal, with approximately 85 feet of total elevation gain.
Terrain: Gravel and dirt trails winding through the woods, alongside a creek and across a bridge.
Pace: Easygoing and little-adventurer-friendly! We'll take our time exploring, searching for nature treasures, and stopping for family photos along the way. No rush, no hurry.
Time moving: A leisurely walk with frequent stops for photos, scavenger hunting, and nature play throughout the experience.
Experience needed: None! All ages are welcome. Little ones can walk, ride in a carrier, or enjoy a combination of both.
Our scavenger hunt and family photos will happen throughout the walk, so there's no separate activity to rush back for. Just plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and capture the moments along the way.
